SKYPE – výrazná pomoc advokátům, ale ...
attorney
Po takovéto délce výkonu advokacie jsem přesvědčen, že Boží mlýny melou pomalu, ale stále.
I have been an attorney ever since completing my studies at the Law Faculty in Prague in 1975. I chose to study law, because I had always been interested in the humanities, especially history and politics. Becoming an attorney appealed to me due to the relative freedom that this job offered even during the Communist regime. I am used to taking full responsibility for the running and results of my cases and never in the past 43 years have I regretted my choice of profession.
Being an attorney means being a part of the life of our society. I have always prided myself on my consistency and my sense for detail in individual cases and I base my work upon mutual trust, without which one is unable to represent or defend a client. Since the beginning of my practice as an attorney I have worked largely on cases related criminal law, but I did not avoid other legal areas. The prevalence of criminal cases was caused largely the location of my practice - the North Bohemian town of Chomutov. Eventually I came to realize that criminal law was very much present in real life, while civilian disciplines were somewhat more formal. Whenever I delivered a successful defence, I was reassured in my belief that there is a purpose to being an attorney.
When taking on a new client I always make sure that they present me with all the facts of the given case and I recognize when a client is not being fully honest. When necessary, I continue to work regardless of the time, as an attorney has no given working hours and must adapt to suit the client’s needs and the circumstances of the specific case.
We have already helped many clients overcome various life barriers. We will also be glad to help you.
